This is renowned as the LORD’S Day, where we seek to give Him the honoured and first place. We can forward this by seeking to attend a place of worship and with people of the same mind and give Him praise and worship in every way, all the day. . He has assured He will be present as this is done in faith and love. Those who show reverence for Him in His day will be duly honoured by Him. So you know what to do!

THE VOICE AND WORD OF THE LORD: Abram heard whilst dwelling in a pagan city, the ancient Ur of the Chaldees. It was a clear call and summons to get out and leave the place for good. God had something infinitely better if he would become a man of faith, trust Him to lead and guide and provide. He did not hesitate but became the first Pilgrim Father and a man who believed God. A great nation was to born of him, becoming a father at 100 and the forerunner of a special people who were to inherit boundless promises, property and possessions. The LORD would call you out today to become somebody special and perform extraordinary things for you. It is possible to stay put and get nowhere or step out with Him into incredible experiences. In 1954, just a year married, I was called to become a student in Bible College at Kenley, trust Him to oversee and direct. For over 64 years He has been in charge, fulfilling successful pastorates, along with my wife served in leadership at the AoG Bible College, visited many countries in ministry and supported them financially. Yes, He is the LORD of today and now it’s your turn to positively respond!

PICTURESQUE

Sat in the garden I espied a bid fly up into the sun. Suddenly that ordinary figure was transformed. It suddenly glowed, gleamed and glittered as the orb’s scintillating rays adorned it. As we dwell in the presence of the glorified Christ, something of His unique splendour envelopes us. The ordinary becomes extraordinary and the natural divine. You know where to spend your time!

THE VOICE AND WORD OF GOD, that is what Noah heard very clearly and made known the task that the LORD had in mind for him. It seemed an impossible one, to build a gigantic boat to save his family etc. But he rose to the challenge and relentlessly carried out God’s requirements. Because he loved the LORD, believed and was obedient, he must have known the assistance of heaven. He was proved right. The LORD still calls for heroic works of life and service and would summon you to perform something significant for Him in these closing days of time. You are to rise to do His bidding and leave a witness to His mercy and grace. Rise to the challenge, now, and leave your mark for Him! It will be too large for you to do on your own. Partnership with the Almighty makes a difference! Yonngi Chow once stood outside the Royal Albert Hall and the LORD spoke to him telling him to build such a place in Seoul. He did so and I visited it and it was packed each Sunday morning three times with 24, 000 people besides other meetings in the city! It was also a privilege to visit the Prayer Mountain with another large auditorium, plus prayer chambers.

THE VOICE AND WORD OF THME LORD: that is what every individual person should know and love if they are going to be and live as they should, and this includes you. This cannot be stressed enough. Jesus said to Satan when severely tempted and tested, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God’ – Matt 4: 4. If it was imperative for Him, to feed on God and His Word, so it must be for you, too. Failure to listen to, love, believe and obey the voice and word of the LORD can have tragic consequences as in the case of our first parents, Adam and Eve, in the Garden of Eden. They listened and hearkened to the wrong voice and word and lost all that was vital and valuable to life and living. Make sure you do not make the same mistake! Start the day with God’s Word and an openness to Him.

MANIFESTATION OF GOD

The great invisible God has chosen to manifest Himself in many ways, in the Holy Scriptures, in the nation of Israel, in and through Jesus Christ and the Christian Church. One can uniquely trace His Presence and workings through each. But He is also visible in creation as Paul affirmed in Romans 1: 20 ‘For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, evenHis eternal Godhead. . .’ – Romans 1: 20. One only has to view the heavens, day and night, and they are a wonder and express Him and His handiwork. Isaiah states He has the stars numbered and named! He made you to reflect His creative genius. As Christ comes into your life in person and power this is realised!

KNOWING CHRIST
Once there is a real and intimate knowledge of Christ there is bound to be an appreciation of Him in in an ecstatic expression of worship and praise that is supernal. There is no one higher or better than Him as Son of God, Son of Man, seated on the heavenly, glorious throne, and He calls forth rich adoration from your being. Make sure that in your knowing Him creates the awareness of who He is and what should be manifest in you in worthy acclamation and exaltation. With the hymn writer inspiringly sing: ‘All hail Redeemer hail, For thou hast died for me. Thy praise shall never, never fail, throughout eternity.’ In that experience the wonder of His Person will be sensed more and more!

KNOWING THE GREATEST FRIEND: In life there is the golden opportunity of discovering and knowing the joy of having the greatest Friend and best of Friendships. Jesus Christ came into the world that you would become one of His close friends in time and to enjoy it for eternity. As your Friend He came to die for your sins and put them away so the bond on oneness could commence. On the Cross He died so that you might be reconciled to God the Father and become a son of God. He must be accepted as your Saviour into your Life and so the fellowship and friendship will begin. If you have not done this, why not do it today, right now: ask Him to be your Friend. You will never regret it!

FRIENDSHIP| There are a number of people who struck up close bond with others that turned the encounter into something profitable and pleasurable. For instance, Jonathan and David, Elijah and Elisha became good companions which resulted in great good. Elijah was able to leave a wonderful spiritual legacy for Elisha to enter into who became a warm companion. Who is the LORD causing to cross your path that you may be switched on together to serve the LORD in a wholesome, spiritual relationship that serves Him and His kingdom? It Never be a loner but ask God to send the right person (s) across your life so that you may be enhanced as an individual in grace and gift to contribute much more for Him.

He’ll lead you gently with loving hand: Never lose sight of Jesus!

Though dark the pathway may be ahead, Never lose sight of Jesus!

“I will be with you,” His word hath said, Never lose sight of Jesus!’

Day and night He will lead aright; Never lose sight of Jesus.’

“My Presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest” – Exodus 33:14 Tis ensures all will be well!

The LORD is ever seeking to forge a living, strong and lasting bond with His people on a personal basis. Every day He works to form a greater union and from that fresh and vibrant experiences will flow into and out of it all that will be progressive and successive.  A positive start was made when you received Christ into your life but it must not remain in a static state. There are heights, depths and breadths of His love wisdom and power to be sensed and exploited to immense quality that will testify to His ability to create the extraordinary through humble channels.

Be assured today, God will never be bankrupt in any way, incapable to meeting the demands of the universe and you and I. Just as He is intimately aware of you by name, location and need, so out of His infinite, incredible, immeasurable fullness He will answer without any problem your situation now and in on–going future. He will never ever seek to opt out of whatever may arise within your life and affairs but is always on ‘stand-by’ to work the wonder, perform the miracle, and underlines He is always God. You can rejoice in Him at all times because He will not only turn up but turn on His favour and ability whatever confronts. There will be a testimony to his constancy and great goodness!

DEPRESSION:

DEPRESSION:

One of the principal weapons that Satan has in his artillery is depression. He aims at causing the worst to happen in order to deflate and rob you of your inspiration. It is important that you are aware of this and do not fall to his intrusions. Learn to praise the LORD whatever is occurring in your life. Keep on the praise and worship wave length so that you can defeat Him and honour your LORD in the process. In our morning devotions my wife and I resort to the legacy of hymns in the Redemptional Hymn Book and sing a hymn. Today we sang ‘I’ll praise Him, all the time.’ I sang this verse on my Prayer Walk: “when fierce temptations try my heart, I’ll sing ‘Jesus is mine’; And though tears at times may start, I’ll praise Him all the time.’ It is a healthy spiritual therapy!
