THOUGHTS TO QUICKEN AND INSPIRE

OBTAIN THE PRIZE: You are now in the race of life that the LORD has appointed for you. It is important that you finish well and ultimately receive a prize from Him that will reveal His estimation of your endeavour. It is more like an obstacle race. Before you there are numerous things sometimes difficult to be confronted and negotiated successfully. The route has been laid out and He is with you to give maximum assistance in dealing with it in a positive and accomplished manner. Let not the thought of defeat or negativism enter but proceed with the inspiration of God’s Word in you and the Holy Spirit supplying the needed wisdom and strength to go all the way. Be encouraged by those who have already run and stayed with it to the end and turned out triumphant. They appear on the sidelines now seeking to boost your spirit and join them in the winner’s enclosure.

WISDOM

MOUTHFUL OF WISDOM: Note the words of wisdom in relation to the use of one’s lips. ‘The mouths of the righteous (those harmonious with God) bring forth skilful and godly Wisdom, but the perverse tongue shall be cut down (like a barren and rotten tree)’ – Proverbs 10: 31. Things are really spelled out here and shown in their true light in the use of the tongue. The emphasis, of course is in its right use. The words and messages are not only a real blessing to the user but those who hear and listen are enormously blessed and helped. Because they hear from the LORD they can pass on to others what they have heard and learned from Him. Nothing but the best ever comes from the lips of the Almighty! The opposite is to be rejected and turned from because it ends up completely rejected. So today, let your mind be filled with divine truth, your heart with love and faith and your mouth with pearls of wisdom!
