TEMPORARY RESPITE
There are times in the life of Christian leaders and believers when there is a need for temporary respite. The carrying of incredible loads and burdens, the confronting of demanding schedules and people do require the need for some worthwhile breaks. In Acts 27 a company faced a tumultuous journey on the high seas that was life threatening. Thankfully they came for a short time to a place called ‘the Fair havens’ – v9. It was not a place to stay too long especially in the winter season. Be encouraged to make the best progress in your Christian experience and avail yourself of the times of respite and relief because they enable a build-up of fortitude and faith for what lies ahead.
