PROPHETIC MESSAGE

Do not let fear of any kind invade from anyone or anything invade and dominate your mind, heart and spirit, otherwise it will create a state of bondage and misery. Remind yourself of God’s Word that ‘God has not given you a spirit of bondage again to fear’ but the ‘spirit of faith’ which is able to negate every type of fear. You have been set free from fear by the Spirit of God so that you can live in spiritual freedom and to act in great confidence each day dealing with every negative and destructive circumstance, emotion and force. Yours is now to be a life of absolute conquest where you are fearless in dealing with all that would oppose and conquer. Realise you are more than a conqueror through Christ who lives within you.

PROPHETIC MESSAGE

To live progressively, positively and successfully, we need divine the true knowledge that comes from the only wise God that shows how to live and invest in the things that will yield genuine profit and pleasure. He is concerned that we shall make the most of existence and get the most and best from it. It is imperative to be counselled by the Fount of all wisdom. He really is in the know and always speaks the truth. Knowing and rightly using God’s wisdom safeguards life and causes a person to develop in the best possible manner. It places an individual into a profitable and powerful state of leadership where good counsel can be given to others.

GOD DOES SPEAK TODAY

One of the things we need to know about and be sure of is this that God does speak today. This being so, we need to hear His voice and be able to listen and understand what He has to truly say to us and into our lives.

He speaks in a number of ways to those who are tuned in to Him. He communicates through the Bible the Scriptures of truth, through the Holy Spirit bringing in a unique manner to our spirits divine understanding, through daily circumstances, through other human being and nature, also.

The two main ways, however are through the Bible and the Holy Spirit. God has caused this ancient and inspired book to be composed for all men to read in sincerity and when His help His sought, He lightens up the whole Bible and makes it understandable and meaningful. It is possible to discover and know God through these sacred books. On our site we present a daily reading and give a simple explanation that will prove helpful to those who daily read and ponder it.

By the Holy Spirit God seeks to speak prophetically and personally into our lives. He seeks to impart encouraging and helpful messages that will be relevant to our lives at given moments. Each day there will be a word of this nature given so that you can meditate on it and find apt words at the right moment into your situation.

Tuesday – November 10^th   

Make sure within your being that you are constantly stirred in your spirit towards your God and towards the things of God. Never ever lose the passion and fire for Him for it is vital to your being, growth, usefulness and blessedness. It is your personal responsibility to give yourself to this matter of ‘stirring’. The apostle called Timothy to ‘stir up the gift’ that God had given him, making him aware that he had a duty to perform in this direction. You must not allow the divine spark and fire to die but make doubly certain that it is fed daily and continually with the divine fuel that has been given for this purpose. The Holy Spirit and the Word of God are the means by which you can be kept in this healthy and warm state. Engage in pursuit of the Spirit and Word today and you will be kept fired up!

November 10^th

CHRIST IS ALL YOU NEED – 1 Corinthians 1

The apostle points out that in Christ the Christian believer has all that is required to create and sustain His whole life. He says in v30 that “He has become wisdom from God-that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.” Wisdom is that divine understanding and knowledge that is able to provide all the answers and faith that will enable one to be and to live successfully in the way God has designed.  Christ is spoken of in the context as the wisdom and power of God. He not only reveals the way to live in the way God has planned but also gives the power to carry out this life. One does not have to look in any other direction but to Christ alone.

It is a life of divine righteousness, holiness and freedom. The idea presented is not simply being forgiven and freed from sin but of living a life utterly devoted to doing what is right and good and is the best. The Gospel of Christ in its outworking is to produce a people who have an absolute love for God and doing what is approved of by Him at all times. In no way is this negative in the sense of not doing certain things but in being committed to living a life that is true, pure, wholesome and very rewarding. Christ is the life of the believer thus enabling this to be so.

Every Christian must learn not only to believe in Christ but also receive from Him on a daily basis in relationship with Him all that He desires to impart. He is a divine treasury of wisdom and power so that in all situations the believer can be enriched by His constant contribution of answers, energy and assurance. He has been the great succoring and sustaining life force of His Church since its commencement and is still able to minister to all who trust Him. As you look alone to Him you, too, will discover that He is well able and suited to provide all that you will ever need.

It is good to know that God does seek to talk to us regularly on a daily

basis. Just as Adam and Eve knew what it was to hold a constant fellowship with Him and receive from Him counsel and guidance in their lives, so we, too, can enjoy relationship with Him and hear His word for today.

God chooses to speak to us through His written Word, the Bible. Every Christian should daily spend time reading through the Holy Scriptures and discover what God has said and still says to those who have ears to hear and a heart to receive.

He also seeks to speak into our minds and hearts through the Holy Spirit, giving us prophetic encouragement and enlightenment. Daily we seek by His help and inspiration to place a word of this nature on this site, to help those who are looking to God for inspiration and instruction. May you, as you turn to this page discover an apt word into your lives and situations on a regular basis.

Thursday – August 27^th

One of the grave dangers in life is to be taking up with a lot of trivia, stuff that that is really non-essential and wastes a great deal of precious time and energy. You have to sort out each day what is important, relevant and worthy of your commitment and not be tempted to indulge in things and efforts that are unprofitable. Trivia may allure and tempt because it gives some temporary satisfaction but in the end has not lasting profit or value. In this matter, you do really need to seek the Lord for His wisdom and understanding so that you can perceive without difficulty the things that would rob of making something really of your life and service. He is at hand today to be called upon in truth and He will give you a sense of what your engagements should be. Don’t waste your life on that which is meaningless and worthless but be devoted to factors that will produce great rewards and will have no regrets.

August 27^th

DON’T FUEL THE FIRE – Proverbs 26

The idle use of the tongue in gossip is a malicious practice that must not be countenanced. When things are being said falsely about others the grave danger is of contributing and adding to it thus heating things up like a fire. The wise saying affirms – “Without wood a fire goes out; without gossip a quarrel dies down” – v20. The counsel that is being offered is simply: “Don’t fuel the fire!” In refraining from joining in with the rumours being spread the wicked thing is stayed from spreading further. There is a good restraint put upon the gossip and it could prove its death.

There is a great deal of hearsay that is passed out around about people that may appear innocent but in point of fact is of a scandalous nature and pollutes life. The best way is not to become involved in this negative and destructive procedure by feeding it and passing it on. The wisest course of action is to be a conveyor of good, sound, healthy conversation about others so that no tittle-tattle gets any access or opportunity to grow. Gossip of an evil character does not enhance or advance anyone, either the one spoken about or the gossiper.

The New Testament expresses its sentiment with regard to the use of the mind and mouth of the Christian saint. Paul refers to “sound speech that cannot be condemned” – Titus 1: 8. A watchman has to be set upon the thoughts and expressions that come from the lips so that all that is spoken are words of integrity, encouragement and blessing to and concerning others. The wise know that this is the finest way to employ the tongue to untold profit. Instead of harming and hurting others with gossiping words there is a ministry of life that through the lips that you can inspire and uplift countless others – c.f. Proverbs 12: 18.

Monday – April 13^th  

It was your Lord that at the commencement of creation furnished and loaded it with all that was necessary for its life, growth, blessedness and continuance. Whatever was essential was fully provided for from a natural standpoint from His beneficent hand. There was and is no need to know any lack because all is present to minister to every need. Similarly, in the new creation, all has been placed in Christ for the believer’s being and blessedness. As you live and draw from Him, as the branch from the vine, so you will receive His nature, grace and power to be most fruitful and blessed. Your responsibility is simply this, that you learn to know a consistent union and communion with your Lord, and as a consequence, there will be spiritual development, fulfillment and satisfaction. There is no need to seek elsewhere for the answer to all your needs because all is to be found in your Lord. See, today, that the line of life and communication are open to Him and o there will be the inevitable supply to meet the current situation for today. And it will be the same tomorrow.

WRONG CONCEPTIONS – Ezekiel 12

The people who were captives along with Ezekiel were under a serious misconception: they were living under the false impression that the captivity would be brief and soon they would be in their homeland again. Jerusalem and Judah would not fall but rise again and quickly they would be restored to their former position.  They were building bogus hopes and it was necessary that they really knew what was taking place and would be. The Lord was to call His servant to enact a scene before them that would clearly portray matters as they were.

In parabolic form he revealed a city under siege and it was typical of Jerusalem once more under Babylonian attack. The clear message was that things would get worse rather than better because the Holy City would be ransacked and desolated and the monarchy and people would be brought into captivity to Babylon. Through the graphic portrayal, Ezekiel was depicting the truth that the situation would not be as they expected and so they needed to prepare for this event. They would discover the fact that God had spoken truly and that he was a trusted messenger.

Vain ideas do lead to the possession of false and disastrous hopes. How important it is not to live in delusion and with misconceptions. The Lord never wants this to be so with those who profess to know and own Him. It is far better to know the truth of situations than be nursing and holding on to ideas and convictions that proved wrong. Thankfully the Lord desires to impart true revelation, difficult as such may be, and it is far better to be properly and correctly informed than be holding on to lies that lead on to spiritual and natural ruin.

Thursday – March 12^th  

If there is one thing that the Lord loves to note in those who are in accord with Him is that they are possessed and inspired with godly and wholesome desires. Heading the list of aspiration is that of burning passion for Him. He sought it of old in Peter when He confronted him three times with the question, “Do you love Me?” – John 21: 15-17. From this healthy desire streams all other godly longings. The desire to believe, serve Him, to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and to be made an untold blessing within Christendom and the whole world are the longings that must prevail. Let your inward commitment be on the outreach and upreach towards Him, so these deep yearnings will be birthed and brought to total realisation. The glorious conclusion will be that you will be fully satisfied and have every reason to possess a wondrous, divine accomplishment. You will not finish up barren and bare but be luxuriant in growth and usefulness. Allow the Lord to nurture and cultivate all the right and perfect desires.

THE LIGHT OF LIFE – John 8: 12-30

How vital it is that man’s mind and being be lit up with true understanding with regard to life. He needs to be fully in the know concerning what life is all about, what it should be producing and where it is actually leading to. For this to be so he requires light of a divine order so that he can perfectly perceive, know and proceed on the right course of belief and behaviour. Christ affirmed in a clear manner that He alone is the answer to this basic requirement. He said: “I Am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” –v12.

This is a divine claim that He will have to justify and is prepared to do it in everyone that is willing to receive and follow Him. Looking at His life, it is obvious that He knew the reason for His existence and perfectly accomplished His mission not only for Himself but for all men. He has made a highway for all to enter that leads to God and to eternal life and destiny. He is the shining, divine light that lights up men within and lights up the path and the way ahead. Those who acknowledge Him are freed from darkness and walk in light.

This is a personal issue that has to be applied within the life of every individual. Christ must be the one to whom all men should turn to and be believed in and the moment that occurs, He, the Light, begins to illuminate the life with truth, faith, knowledge and divine purpose. It does not say, “I was the Light” but that “I Am the Light” thus revealing He is the ever present, divine Light. Remember, He is the One that seeks to give you true understanding and knowledge so that you rightly believe and proceed on the highway of life to your divine destination and destiny.

Wednesday – September 10^th     

Possibly the most important thing for you to do when you are lost is to find someone near at hand who does know the way and inquire of such. Instead of proceeding in your journey in a state of ignorance, uncertainty and frustration, wisdom teaches that it is better to stop, humble yourself and graciously ask someone to give you directions so that you can successfully negotiate the way ahead. There is no sense going on relentlessly vainly hoping that you are going to arrive at your destination. In the daily outworking of life, you require someone with expertise divine knowledge to guide you as a person so that you arrive at the place I have planned and prepared – heaven. You will only get there inasmuch as you are guided by Me. Through my Holy Spirit, Son and the Word of God this guidance is afforded. Instead of trusting in your vain understanding and that of others, seek me and be sure that you are on the right track always so that you will arrive where all is well and satisfying. Christian discipleship is following Me, Christ, and you will never be led astray. Remember my word to you for life: “I am the light of the world; he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life – a life of light!” – John 8: 12.

September 10^th  

CHRISTIAN HOSPITALITY – Acts 16: 1-15

Paul and his fellow workers, Silas and Timothy, arrived at Philippi under the inspiration and guidance of God. They had known a clear word from God directing them to go into Macedonia and they were immediately obedient. On arrival they waited a few days to get a feel for the place and looking to the Lord on how to approach their ministry. On the Sabbath day they went down to the riverside and met a group of women who had gone for prayer. They took hold of the opportunity to present the Christian message to these spiritually prepared people. 

The first Christian convert in Europe was to be a woman by the name of Lydia. Her mind and heart were opened to the truths expressed and she received the Lord into her life. She made room for Him first of all along with her household. There was a radical renewal as they were baptized thus showing their will to follow Christ. She manifested the fullness of her commitment by allowing Paul and the team to be guests in her home. She seized hold of the opportunity of revealing her new found faith in a practical gesture of kindness. Her Christianity meant hospitality.

When a person receives Christ into the heart it should also mean the home as well. The dwelling place must become the situation where the Lord and His people are welcome. It is also a venue where Christianity can fully demonstrate itself. It is important that Christians share their home and goods with others so that people experience that faith works and is evidenced at this level. Goodness and kindness are real testimonies to the genuine power and dynamic of the Christian Gospel. Make sure that there is no lack of witness in your life and home.

Saturday – September 6^th     

The one thing that you discover on a daily basis is that you exist in a world of constant change. There are no two days alike. Each ensuing twenty-four hours bring decisive transformation on many fronts. Only consider the weather for instance: the sky is ever on the move, bringing in its wake dark clouds, blue skies, rain and sunshine etc. Within your own body there is continuing change from babyhood to adulthood until the final years there is the obvious alteration for all to note. Be assured of this, though all may change, that never applies to Me. The word to you is: “For I Am the Lord, I change note” – Malach 3: 6. Whatever happens to people, creatures, seasons and things does not happen to Me. I remain as I have always been, eternally omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent, therefore all can trust Me continually. In your changing circumstances I am with you to help you cope with all the changes, be they sudden or otherwise. As you anchor in Me you yill have real stability and balance that will enable you to manage all that comes across your pathway.

September 6^th  

COSTLY SERVICE – Acts 14: 1-20

These two inspired missionaries, Barnabas and Saul, were to find that serving the Lord in the preaching of the Gospel was to cost them a great deal. They were willing to give themselves unreservedly in devoted labour to bring the Good News to others, both Jews and Gentiles. Whilst the Lord confirmed His word in doing miracles, nevertheless, there were those who were opposed and spoke maliciously of them. But they were not put off by the activity of these evil people because they sensed the urgency of making known the truth of the Christian message.

At Iconium a hostile mob was intent on hurling not only abuse but stones. They managed to escape from this but later at Lystra it literally occurred. It states that “they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, apparently dead” – v19. In spite of this horrendous treatment and experience, he suddenly gets up and goes back into the city. He was not going to be put off by anyone or anything as he had made up his mind with Barnabas, cost what it may, he would serve the Lord. Later on in 2 Corinthians 11 & 12 he gives a list of the things that he had had to face for the sake of the Christian testimony. Christ was worthy of such devotion and sacrifice.

The Lord never declared that it would be easy in serving Him. In founding the Christian Faith and Gospel it had cost Him everything. Those who would love and honour Him may well have to pay quite a price in suffering and even in death for His cause and sake. Whilst it is a wonderful thing to know the blessing of miracles in evidence of the message preached, there may well be the cost of personal sacrifice in abuse and affliction as well. Do not be ashamed or afraid to make your stand for Him knowing He is worthy of your total allegiance.

Wednesday – September 3rd     

Do not permit anyone or anything to mess up your life or work but see that both are kept in a holy and healthy condition so that you may ever live and function properly and so produce the best results. Of course, as you look towards Me for my input and help, all that is needed to maintain this state will be afforded. It is always in my power to prime and time each one of my children and servants so that they are in tip-top condition and enable to ccomplish that which is choice and commendable. As you commence this fresh day, be renewed in spirit, soul and body by my Spirit and Word so that you can tackle it right at the outstet in good mind and heart. You were birthed into my kingdom to lead and live a successful existence, where you will have every reason to be blessed and thankful. Make sure nothing evil or negative, therefore, intrudes and takes over, rather, receive those good people and ministries into your being that will keep you in a sound, sweet and sensible situation ready for service.

September 3rd  

OVERTHROWING EVIL – Acts 12

It did look as if the early Church had its back against the wall when one of their leaders, James, was beheaded. Things did not look any better when Peter was taken with the intention of Herod to have him disposed of. Many Christians must have been somewhat dismayed and perplexed that evil seemed to be in the ascendancy. The powers of sin and darkness were assuming control and doing their utmost to bring about the defeat of Christendom. The spiritual fight was on and it was needful to have a significant reversal to show who really was in charge.

How heartening to read that the Church gave itself to earnest and instant prayer – v5. Peter may have been in prison but it did not stop them from pleading to the highest authority of all, the Lord. In an amazing show down the Lord sent an angel to deliver him. Without ado, God provided a light and simply loosed the chains. He told Peter to get dressed, put on his sandals and coat and led him out. Meanwhile He kept the guards and the rest of the prisoners asleep. Finally, he opened the iron gate without a problem. The conclusion to it all was the demise of Herod in a remarkable way. He paid an awful price for his action against James and the Christian Church.

When the Church or the believer is in major difficulty (and sometimes God allows it), it is that they may discover the power of prayer and the sovereignty of God. At all times there is access to the One who sees and knows all that is occurring and possesses the power to act and transform situations. Peter evidently rested in God whilst people prayed and experienced a miracle. So it is possible for you to pray for others who are facing a problem and then see God’s answer.

Saturday – May 24^th  

There is a tremendous need for your faith to grow and be demonstrated in a greater way so that you experience much more from Me. Faith is that quality that I love to see birthed and released because it expresses a confidence not only in my ability but in my generosity, too. It gives me enormous pleasure to minister to those who truly trust Me and the promises of my Word. So as you learn to exploit your trust in Me, know that you will not be disappointed but greatly rewarded. Today I look for a further declaration and evidence of this in you and as you are determined in your spirit to manifest it, so you will be justified in remarkable ways. This is a day of my outstanding grace, favour and goodness and you should be excited at the prospects of my blessing and intervention in your life and affairs. You will have testimony to my exceeding kindness as you switch on to Me in everything.

May 24^th    

VITAL CORRECTION – Psalm 94

Having affirmed the truth that God will ultimately deal with the wicked for their sins  vv1-11, the psalmist then makes the declaration: “Happy are those whom you discipline, Lord, and those you teach from your law” – v12. There are those who do not want to be named among the wilful transgressors but have a healthy desire to live obediently according to divine laws. It is to be recognized that doing what is good and right is a wise and delightful procedure of life. It is also needful to know the loving correction of God when mistakes and errors are made. It is far better to be straightened up by Him than to go on doing those things that only lead to harm.

It has to be understood the reasons why the Lord seeks to guide and correct. He is purely motivated in all He does and this is so with regard to discipline. The ultimate welfare and blessedness of those being corrected are always a chief concern. As far as God is concerned, He wants all those who are prepared to be governed to reach their full potential for good in this life and that they will finish up satisfied and without regrets. Divine discipline is a grooming for greater character and vocation.

Do not be envious at all over the wicked in their seeming progress and prosperity. The day of divine judgment is ahead for them. Concentrate now on the fact that God’s pleasure is that you will be refined through His word and discipline so that you will produce a life and work that will stand careful scrutiny and yield the highest attainments possible. Allow Him to school you in the spiritual and moral principles that will build your person and ministry for time and eternity.
