COMMUNICATION FROM HEAVEN

We live in a world of communications in many forms: television, radio, newspapers, letters etc. We have to learn the art both of communicating and listening to each so as to truly benefit. Many do not know or realise that God is in the business of seeking to get through to all with the knowledge and understanding that will profit now and for eternity. The reason for the Bible, the Holy Scriptures, the coming of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit is indeed in order to hold meaningful dialogue with you. Heaven is seeking to have and hold inspiring conversations that will bring sense and reason into your life and affairs. Hearing from Him on a daily and regular basis will introduce a more dynamic life and lifestyle that will be pleasurable and profitable. Make sure you are tuned in to Him!

LIVING OFF ANOTHER
That is what Christianity is all about. It is not the production of the natural man but is brought about in and through Christ. There is no way that a person can be a Christian or live the Christian life without the indwelling and input of the Lord Jesus Christ into the whole of His being. Christ is presented in Revelation 3:20 as standing outside the door of a man’s life seeking admission in order to be Lord and Saviour and provide the all-power to demonstrate His kind of life and living. It is He that makes a difference and shows what He is capable of doing. He transforms sinners into saints, sons of men into sons of God and all is lifted into a brand-new way of life and existence. You cannot afford to be without Him!

A DAY AT A TIME

That is all what the LORD has planned and arranged for your life. He desires and designs that you take each day as it comes so that you can give your best to it and enjoy the best from it. Using up the blessings and opportunities that are readily extended ensures that you will live to the maximum and will build a creditable account when you ultimately appear before the LORD as you recite your life before Him. Just facing each moment as it comes will spare you a lot of undue stress and strain particularly as you keep open to His presence, guidance and providence. Each step with Him on the daily run takes you forward to the final revelation of something bigger that is to be yours in the eternal realm. Day by day is to unfold into an eternity where you will enjoy your LORD’S long time vision and expectations

INDISPENSABLE

There are people who think that life simply revolves around them and the impression they give is they are indispensable. Life and situations would not go on without them. The trouble is this, the idea breeds an attitude of superiority and arrogance which is not good. There is only one who has the right to this claim. It is the LORD. Everyone and everything is truly dependent upon Him. All life and being stems from Him and would cease to be if He did not eternally exist. Without ado, He holds all together and that includes you. He is the indispensable factor in your life and you need to acknowledge it constantly it. The Scripture puts it: ‘In you we live and move and have our being’. Learn to live in and of Him and all will work for good.

Promise to Inherit
Jesus proclaimed with assurance: ‘I Am the Light of the world, He that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness but shall have THE LIGHT OF LIFE’ – John 8:12. If you desire to know and live a true life of light, love, faith etc, Christ alone is the answer. He comes to light up your life with light and then makes you a real light to others. He shines on you that He may shine through you! Make sure you are switched on to Him!

TURNING THE TABLES

This is quite a phrase that requires some understanding. There are occasions when things do not seem to be working too well for a person. In fact things get into a worse state. There is a desperate need for things to be dramatically changed. It would require the table being made the right way up so that things can go smoothly forward for good to work on. It may be that you are in such a quandary and difficulty where all seems upside down and how all needs to be put right. The LORD is the best one to perform this deed. Let Him in on the situation and rest in His ability to put all into its right state and function. And He will!

Promise to Inherit
This is a very old and long standing promise proved to be reliable and still appropriate and applicable- ‘The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not want’ – Psalm 23:1.
David not only proved but countless others also have experienced the LORD’S loving care over the centuries in this capacity. He is up to supplying your need today and is in the business of shepherding your life. Make sure you are one of His sheep and in His sheep-fold!

REACH FOR THE SKY

This is a good expression which is purposed to inspire to thinking and doing something above the norm. Whilst there is much to be achieved that is ordinary and normal, there needs to be the breaking out into greater movement and momentum and enter into a new and higher orbit. Well do I recall 64 years ago, after being married a year, taking wings and going to Bible College to be taught God’s Word and to become a leader. It was quite a challenge to rise to be different and make a difference. Reaching for the sky in the Lord was to be exciting. Taking off and discovering a new expanse of life and ministry has been rewarding. And even in later life there is still this summons for lift off and flight. You were made to scale the heights in love, faith, grace and usefulness, so let the full potential in you find its full manifestation, now.

Promise to Inherit
In the final book of the Bible the LORD makes this fabulous promise in Revelation 21:5 He declares, “Behold I make all things new”. He is creating you anew now on earth with the wonderful prospect of knowing, experiencing and entering into something that is being specially prepared for you. In both the Old and New Testaments it is stated, ‘Eye has not seen or the ear heard the things that He is preparing for those who love Him’. So be be sure you are prepared for the eternal legacy prepared by your Heavenly Father. He is going to make good His promise!

A FRIEND FOR TIME AND ETERNITY

One of my favourite hymns is – ‘Praise to the LORD the Almighty, the King of Creation. The verse that stirs me is: ‘Ponder anew, what the Almighty can do, If with His love He befriend thee.’ To actually be His friend is the greatest asset of life. It is the untold bonus, benefit and blessing one can know and enjoy. His Friendship is not of a temporary kind, restricted to the now. It is to stretch out on to endless ages. It will never end but expand more and more. No one can afford to be without Him. He is ever present as the bountiful stand-by. When others have to say goodbye and leave, not so with Him. Make certain you enjoy this Heavenly relationship!

Promises to Inherit
A promise is an assurance given to The Lord’s offspring of what they can expect and enjoy from Him. He guarantees His eternal affection. ‘I have loved you with and everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee -Jer 31: 3. You are safe and secure living under His wing and care! In no way could you be better placed or served. Know and live with this promise.

GREAT EXPECTATIONS

How refreshing to have had a good night’s rest and your waking thoughts to be positive as you face a new day! Mind, heart and will should possess assured, wholesome assurance when the LORD is in charge and control. With Him inside and alongside, the hours can be filled with choice direction and expectation. Let the mould be broken by Him as He seeks to open out possibly to things you have never done before. Let your love, faith and divine drive intensify and be released so that you move ahead into something new, gaining added friendships, initiating good enterprises that will turn out successful. The LORD has promised you old this, so begin to inherit them.

GOD’S GOODNESS
The psalmist desired that the LORD would give him a token of His goodness. This is one of His choice eternal qualities. He does not have to be such: HE IS GOOD! To those who are now in His Family in Christ, they can expect to experience the lovely action of their Father daily. In no way is He simply committed to the future life in heaven, but now, at this present time, in this world He would give foretaste of it. David anticipated seeing the LORD doing beautiful and bountiful things and was not disappointed. Make sure that you build a solid and continuous fellowship with Him and you are sure to taste in an ever abounding manner and measure of His grace in blessing. ‘O taste and see that the LORD is good.

JUST FOR YOU TODAY

It must be known with certainty that the LORD loves to do things for a His people. He allows them to get at times to get into impossible straits and difficulties, to stretch their faith and to prove His Almightiness. He is never in a condition where He cannot intervene and work the wonder needed. Mary and Martha found out although their brother had died and was in the grave He was up to this situation. Lazarus would hear His voice and come forth in resurrection power. May be at this hour you appear to be facing an experience that you cannot handle. Know He is by your side to inspire and whisper a word of assurance and deliverance. The answer is on the way so live with a divine sense of excitement.
