THOUGHTS TO QUICKEN AND INSPIRE

MAKE THE MOST OF TODAY: As you open your eyes to face the the hours of a new day see that you approach it in the best of ways. Remember that He who gave you the day desires to make a valid and useful contribution to it. Commence by talking to Him the giver of it and ask for His help in dealing with it. As you pray and read the Scriptures He will in His own personal way give directions and ably render His assistance. He has the power to afford a long life and to cause each succeeding day to greatly contribute to the formation of your character to the good; to bring out the latent gifts inside and make them profitable and pleasurable; to raise up the right people around who can add to the delight and progress of your person, and so on. As you conclude the day, as you review it, see how He has helped and don’t forget to thank Him!
WISE COUNSEL
WELL REMEMBERED: What a joy to be well thought of and remembered by people from all walks of life for all kind of things. What a lovely saying well worth considering: ‘The memory of the righteous is a blessing, but the name of the wicked shall rot’ – Proverbs 10: 7. Be inspired by the former and take note of the latter. When you are committed to people to their well being, speaking of and to them in a gracious manner, serving them with deeds of kindness whenever possible both in little and big things, you beget good thoughts that turn into lasting memories. The man who was cared for by the Good Samaritan, when fully recovered would ever hold precious thoughts of His gracious helper! When you think of the people who have stood with and ministered to you blessed thoughts spring up and a thankful attitude. May you be the kind of person that creates such loving and lasting thoughts in others that are a blessing!
