RESIST THE DEVIL: The directive of Scripture is: ‘Resist the devil and he will flee from you’ – James 4:7. The teaching and revelation of God’s Word make known the fact that man has a principal evil adversary that ever seeks his undoing and destruction. His name is Satan. He succeeded with the first human beings, Adam and Eve, and has not ceased in his endeavours to waylay every person in succeeding generations. He certainly wants you to believe he does not exist as it makes his task easier. Wake up to the knowledge that you have a spiritual, unseen foe that is ceaseless in his efforts to cause you to sin and be an enemy of God. Have no truck with him! Christ came to disclose him and destroy every power over which he seeks to harm you. Through Christ and the artillery He has provided, you can resist him and put him to flight and live in victory. Take issue with him today and drive him out of your life and you will be the better for it!
WISE COUNSEL
THE BLESSING OF THE LORD: What a welcome, refreshing knowledge to inspire your life and today and to be in possession of it! The wise saying states: ‘The blessing of the LORD – it makes (truly) rich, and he adds no sorrow with it’ – Proverbs 10:22. It is a most welcome experience to know the hand of God’s blessing on your life in every way when free from all that is of a painful and questionable nature. Joseph of old was singled out by God to be blessed and bless. Yes he had his particular trials that developed his faith but then such was rewarded speedily in an incredible manner and measure. He put him in a status and situation where he would be unquestionably enriched to help and enrich others and save a disastrous situation. Know today that it is the mind and movement of the LORD to open heaven on you and pour out a blessing that cannot be contained but has to flow out to bless others. The great blessing is the LORD Himself, but when He is LORD, blessing is fully enjoyed!
