THOUGHTS TO QUICKEN AND INSPIRE

DISCARD: have you ever discarded something or someone and wished you had not done so? It is so easy to be thoughtless and throw aside things and people that later on are vital to our existence and experience. A loving and long-standing friend must not be suddenly cold-shouldered over some trifling factor that is soon gone. Whilst you are on planet learn to cement your bonds of fellowship so that you become stronger in your union. Other people are a vital part of being and living. They are like soil to the plant and tree, without such death would ensue. May be you need to look back over your life and see if you have neglected someone both to their and your happiness. If you have discarded a wholesome accord with someone, why not make the effort to renew the lines of contact and communion and find more realistic and rewarding than ever. You may not be able to make up for lost time but you can find the ensuing days, months and years very blessed. And do not give up on a friend because you have found another one! Cultivate both to great pleasure and profit!
WISE COUNSEL
ON A GOOD THING: When a righteous person decides to nail their colours to the mast and go in for a life of utmost integrity, they are on a good and worthwhile thing. Not only are they able to hold their head up high and be an example to others, they please the LORD and are duly rewarded. See the contrast in the wise saying: ‘The LORD will not allow the (uncompromisingly) righteous to famish, but He thwarts the desires of the wicked’ – Proverbs 10: 3. They are promised that He will more than provide for them and show His gracious bounty. The wicked are left with their unscrupulous ways and doings and find it most difficult. They are at the mercy o their own wit. The one who sides with God and to a wholesome conduct more than discovers that heaven will surprise with unique interventions and blessing. So, throw your lot in with the many who have enjoyed the bounty of the LORD. It is the best and wisest way to be and live!
