What choice words the psalmist uses in Psalm 40:17! – “As for me, I am poor and needy, yet the LORD thinketh on me.” Although He gives constant attention to the universe and all creatures, He does not by-pass anyone. He is able to concentrate without any difficulty with respect to anyone and give absolute attention to the person with all of life’s demands. If there is one thing the Bible reveals and undermines is this fact that God’s eye is on everyone specifically and can act alongside each one showing His grace and goodness? Know that today you are not alone because the eyes, mind and heart of Lord is focused on you to give you a blessed day. You may be in a desperate state but He is never reduced to such a condition. Enjoy His mindfulness and bountifulness. You are special to Him!
