Welcome to this Christian Website which has now been going for a number of years. Over 130,000 people have visited it since 2006. On the left hand side of the introductory page is a host of subjects and material that have been placed during this time and is there for your interest, study and perusal.
I feel it is time and right to change the format and to present day by day something a little simpler and trust will benefit and bless those who visit it. It will consist of A Golden Promise from the Scriptures, Wisdom that Works by Bob Stevenson, Choice Quotations and daily Meditations, working through the whole Bible, something to focus your mind on are included that can be developed more fully by you. I trust you will find such refreshing and helpful.
A GOLDEN PROMISE
“Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” – Ephesians 3:20
After you read this promise, take a moment and try to imagine the biggest, out-of-the-box thing that you could possibly think of for your life. No matter how big you think, God’s plans for you are way bigger! The NLT Bible translates the bigness of God’s plans as ‘infinitely more’ and the NASB Bible says ‘abundantly beyond’.
No matter what version of the Bible you choose to read this Scripture in, God is able to do way more for us than we will ever be able to comprehend according to His incredible power that is at work in us…right now! When I think that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me and how that power is greater than any other power in the universe, it simply amazes me!
Unfortunately many of us limit the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives by what we have experienced thus far. If we haven’t seen too many miracles around us, we don’t expect to live a miraculous life. It is my prayer that the Holy Spirit will give us the power to take off all of the limitations that we have placed around ourselves so that our Papa can show us the incredible bigness of His plan and purpose for our lives.
May each one of us open our hearts and minds to things that are exceedingly abundantly beyond what we could ever dare to ask for. Are you willing to ask God for a revelation of His great power that is already at work in you?
WISDOM THAT WORKS
THE LAW OF RETURNS – Rev. Bob Stevenson
“The man who sets a trap for other will get caught in it himself. Roll a boulder down on someone, and it will rollback and crush you”.

Once you get embroiled in the business of subterfuge you can never know what it is going to lead you into. To work underhandedly with the purpose of bringing somebody down, either by seeking to damage their reputation or to gain some unfair advantage will inevitably end in self impairment or even complete destruction. Whatever the motivation might be to deliberately set some trap in the hope of exposing someone’s weaknesses or inadequacies, will inevitably backfire on you.
God has put into place a ‘Law of Returns’ that works with clockwork precision and is as sure and certain in its operation as night follows day.
I like the way the Apostle Paul puts it in his letter to the Galatians where he points out that “ . . .God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, THAT shall he also reap”. (Galatians 6:7) In the Newberry Bible the word ‘THAT is an emphatic pronoun in the original text. The meaning is, that the very thing you sow will be the very same thing that you reap. And so it is with God’s law of Returns
Entrapment of any kind should be resisted at all cost, especially if such entrapment is going to do serious damage or harm Vengeance is mine says the Lord, I will repay. So be sure not to take matters into your own hands as it might well rebound on you! (See Rom 12:19)

DAILY MEDITATIONS
A REAL SENSE OF LOSS – 1 Samuel 15: 30-35
The old prophet is somewhat saddened at what had been involved in seeing the one who was so full of prospect come to this state of affairs. In no way did it give him pleasure to announce to Saul the truth that he was now rejected as the monarch of Israel. It was heartbreaking to inform him of God’s judgment and that there was to be no reversal of it. There was to be no change of mind on his part as Saul had blown his second opportunity of making good. In spite of Samuel’s nurturing he had turned out to be a failure.
This aged man keenly felt the sense of loss and it was more disturbing because he knew he could not visit him anymore. Verse 35 states, “And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul.” He did not find it easy to come to terms with this situation for he sensed the effect it would also have upon the people. So much damage had been created by this that it would take quite a period of time for things to be changed for the better. But the mourning had to come to an end as 1 Samuel 16: 1 reveals. The Lord said: “How long will you mourn for Saul?”
There are times when we are called to rightly grieve over people and situations. It is an occasion of sorrow when we have to confront the fact of spiritual failure in those we hoped would make a growing and lasting contribution to God’s work in leadership and ministry. There is no cause for delight or pleasure but sadness over the loss. It is a spiritual bereavement. However, we must know that God’s work must go on and we must look ahead to hear what He has to say and do. Get on with whom the Lord desires you to be involved with and not to pine in sorrow.
