Tues – The Delight of Taste
Good morning! Today and through the ensuing week let us think of the human anatomy, the physical body and its many part, how they are beautifully linked together to make a composition of extraordinary design and function. We have to agree with the thought and sentiment of David when he affirmed, “I am fearfully and wonderfully made” – Psalm 139:14. How thankful we are for taste! The capacity to distinguish the variety of foods we eat and the drinks and cordials that are at hand. When you are hungry and downright thirsty what pleasure is known in eating and drinking the delightful provision especially at a feast? Of course, there are spiritual tastes for the spiritual person. Eating the bread and manna of God’s Word is an immense benefit as drinking of the Holy Spirit, too. Make sure you truly cater for both!
