Good morning! Today, turn your mind and thought to very testing moments and incidents. How do you fare when the ordeal is of a longstanding nature. Short episodes of pain, pressure and anguish are a bit easy to handle but when stretched to a long time that seems to have no ending, it is demanding and challenging. Job stands out in the Bible context as one who appeared to endure a long bout of suffering. One moment he was wonderfully well and then reduced to skin and bone and to a seemingly unending period of torture and distress. He passed this test as the end of the story unfolds. It reveals God’s confidence in him to remain true in spite of the tribulation. It may be you are in such circumstances and wonder why should happen. Take it as a sign of the Almighty’s confidence and see the issue through to a blessed conclusion. You will make it!
