A WORD IN SEASON
Thurs – The Benefit of Divine Control
Good morning! Today, another advantage of being graced and blessed by the presence of the Holy Spirit is being and living under divine control. The word temperance really affirms that life is balanced out in a good and righteous way so the best and maximum results are secured. Life and work does not fly off at a tangent with its inevitable damage but all is under wise government. When a horse is broken in it can be to immense gain to its owner and rider. It can run and jump smartly, attain majesty, win tournaments, and is very noticed and admired. As you are tempered by God by His presence and input you can serve Him with distinction. Remember, your present situation is but the training ground for when Christ’s sets up His eternal kingdom and that could mean promotion for you!

GOD’S PROMISES
Today’s assurance:
“Delight yourself in the LORD; and He shall give you the desires of your heart” – Psalm 37:4. What a golden and glorious promise to know and experience! It is two-fold: your part and God’s part. Make the LORD your delight today by singing and proclaiming Him in praise and worship. He will receive such and honour you the worshipper. His great desires will possess you, superseding all that is your natural bent and give you the best.
