A WORD IN SEASON

Tues – Ever Abiding

Good morning! Today, know that the LORD is ever with you. Never does He slip off somewhere and leave you to live and work out things on your own. He is the ever-present One that is your closest intimate, sharing the reality and fullness of all He is and has with you so that you can deal with all the demands you have to successfully negotiate. Moses had to move on to the greater but the LORD could say to Joshua: ‘As I was with Moses, so I will be with you.’ What more could you desire or require. In union with Him there is sure to be great prospects ahead so do not flinch from going forward with Him and being amazing at where you will go and what you will do together.

GOD’S PROMISES

Today’s assurance:

A Wise Word of Hope

‘For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall live in it’ – Proverbs 2: 21. If you would desire to ensure your life in real security then make sure that daily you are committed to doing what is good and right in  the eyes of your Creator. The Eternal, the LORD, is the Upright One and He seeks such in His creatures. As you please the LORD in doing what is right He will approve and  minister His favour and blessing in every way. Be aware of the fact, you really only have one to please that matters, and in so doing you will benefit from His protection, provision and constant benediction. There are no substitutes for this healthy state!

QUOTES TO THINK ABOUT

Napoleon Bonaparte said, ‘I know men and I tell you that Jesus Christ is no mere man. Between him and every other person in the world there is no possible term of comparison.’

‘If you judge people, you have no time to love them’ – Mother Theresa

‘The faith of the Son of God comes into the heart of a man through the faith of the Son of God’ – E Anderson

HUMOUR

KETCHUP

A woman was trying hard to get the ketchup out of the bottle. During her struggle the phone rang, so she asked her four-year-old daughter to answer tyhe phone. ‘It’s the minister, Mummy,’ the child said to her mother. Then she added, ‘Mummy, can’t come to the phone to talk to you right now. She’s hitting the bottle.’

THE BIBLE

A little boy opened the family Bible. He was fascinated as he fingered through the old pages. Suddenly, something fell out of the Bible. He picked up the object and looked it. What he saw was an old leaf that had been pressed in between the pages.

‘Mum, look what I found!’ the boy cried out.

‘What have you got there, dear?’

With astonishment in his voice he answered, ‘I think its Adam’s underwear!’
